Coffee/tea maker

We all love a hot cup of coffee or tea in the morning to start our day! And maybe even a cold drink later in the day as a pick me up. I have been using the Hot and cold brew system from Ninja.  This product is amazing!  I love the fact that it can brew hot or cold, coffee or tea.  And I can’t forget to mention that it has a built in frother that does great job at frothing milk.

 The little holder that flips down to hold a regular coffee cup is a great addition.  If you wanted to use a travel mug or make a pot just flip the holder up and done.  Select the appropriate setting, then start.  In just a few minutes you will have an amazing hot/cold drink ready to enjoy.  

Let’s talk about the different settings.  There are 5 Brew styles; Classic, Cold Brew, Specialty, Rich or Over ice.  Then there are many different brew sizes From a single cup to a Full carafe.  It comes with two baskets, one for coffee (orange) and one for tea (green). The tea basket can do loose or bagged tea.  The machine recognizes which basket you are using and will display either the coffee or tea options. If you choose the thermal carafe like I have it will keep it hot long enough for you to drink it.  Works well to keep it cold if you choose to make a cold brew.

The water reservoir is big, which decreases the need to fill.

Daily cleaning of the tea/coffee basket is super easy.  Empty out the coffee grounds or tea bags/leaves. Rinse with warm soapy water, let dry.  Ready for the next day.

I’ve had it for about a year and try to keep to a regular cleaning cycle (also built in setting) about once every 4 months.  This makes the brews just as fresh as the first one.
