Tavel backpack

I have been looking for a backpack that I can take with me on any trip whether it is on a plane or in the car, short or long.  I wanted something that would double as a suitcase and an everyday bag.   was looking for something that didn't break the bank, as well as something with great functionality.  I tried several different brands such as this 30L one from L.L.Bean.  The L.L.Bean one is a great product, and I really like the colors and the functionality. However, it just looked too small on me.  

Ultimately, the one I chose is from  OGIO. It is a little smaller at 25L but this bag is longer which fits my taller frame better. I wasn't really looking for something with a laptop sleeve but his feature is useful for people that travel for work.  The main compartment and the second compartment are both spacious.  I like that it has the ability to adjust the depth of the bag with two buckles.  The drink holder is a good size.  The back of the bag also has a built- in sleeve for putting over the handle of your suitcase.  

My main reason for getting a backpack was to have a place to add a few days worth of clothes for traveling.  I decided to try compression packing cubes.  They allow me to pack all of my essential items in an organized way. They fit perfectly in the backpack, but can also be used in suitcases or duffle bags.
