Pumpkin Arch

To make the pumpkin arch, I bought 13 inch and 9 inch foam pumpkins like these.  I traced the pumpkin faces onto the pumpkins, then used a hot knife to cut out the faces.   Now it's time to make them fit in the archway.  I used ¾ inch PVC with PEX for the arch.  First, I made a base out of PVC to make it more stable.  After that is done I drilled a hole on the top and bottom of the pumpkins (keep in mind I did offset them because of the stem on top, This provided a better look and fit).  As for the LED lights I used C7 bulbs with a white wire.  I had to feed this through the pumpkins before adding them to the PVC, due to the light sockets.  Repeat for the other side. The arch is similar except I drilled the side of the pumpkins.  Attach to the pillars with zip ties.  This arch is able to be stored in three parts.  The best part is when halloween is over spin the pumpkins around and leave them up for Thanksgiving!
